CLASSIFICATION OF THE MUSICAL WORKS PERFORMED BY MUHARREM ERTA？ AND HACI TA？AN IN TERMS OF DIFFERENT ASPECTS

Abdall？k is a tradition which has existed in Anatolia for centuries and organized the social and cultural structure by itself. Abdals are known with their musical abilities in society and have made great contribution to traditional music culture by works they produced. In this research, it was roughly aimed to classify the musical works performed by Muharrem Erta？ and Hac？ Ta？an who are the two important representatives of Abdall？k tradition in accordance with the characteristic of traditional Abdal music. The research is considered significant due to two reasons. One of them is that the musical works of two important representatives of traditional Abdal music should be classified with respect to maqam, register and meter. As for the second reason is that there two important representatives should display all contributions to region where they lived and traditions in which they grew up through comparing obtained datas. The research was done in descriptive survey model and the current situation was tried to be represented
