WEALTH TAX AND ITS APPLICATION IN ERZURUM

Wealth tax was applied in Turkey during World War II in a similar way as it was applied in the various countries throught history. During the war, there were big problems in the application of the wealth tax which was applied against the war profiteers. As in the whole country, the wealth tax applied in Erzurum at the same time did not meet the expectations and left deep traces in the social memory
