Reasons Leading to Social Anomaly In Qur’anKeywords: Anomi,Toplum,Kur’an,Helak,?slam Sosyolojisi Abstract: The Qur'an has principlesthat enable mankind to live in society which ensure a certain order and coexistence. These principles help that people achieve happiness in the world and the hereafter. As long as people practice these principles in their lives, order rule over in society. From this point of view, as human beings move away from these principles, the social dislocation arises and the society drifts to anomaly. In addition, rapid change is emerging as the result of the industrial revolution, and people are not able to keep up with rapid change and development. As a result, the individual and society feel in vain about cultural values. As a result of this rapid change, the family institution can not fulfill its duty and give rein to anomaly and the dragging society along with it. After the 18th century, the family type has transformed from traditional type to modern family type. For this reason, the role of people in the family is changing. Mothers and fathers are not able to play the role as well. This prevents the child from socializing. Individuals lacking cultural values grows in society. The anomie existing in the family institution directly affects other. Thepurpose of thisstudy is to examine the terms called normlessness of societies or anomie in the context of Qur'an with sociological concepts. Especially in the context of parables, making interpretation, sampling and evaluation of the normlessness expressed as social anomie or cultural schizophrenia in the Qur'anic sense. The study was constructed in accordance with the historical documentation technique of the qualitative method and the data obtained through indirect observation was used systematically. In the same way, we will refer to the concept of “destruction”(helak) by the expression of the Qur'an in responseto an anomaly, anditseffect on iki people.Moreover,inthiswork, we will consider the causes of the destruction of the tribe of Noah, the tribe of Aad, the tribe of Thamud, the tribe of Lut in the Qur'an verses. We will also refer to the Qur'anic cases and events leads to social anomalies, Qur’anic principles of society disposing from the anomic behaviors, the common features of the anomic societies in the Qur'an. We will give examples from the Qur'anic verses in accordance with the subheadings under these headings
