Abstract:

This research was carried out to determine effects on some nutrient content of different row spacing (17.5, 35, 52.5 and 70 cm) and intra-row spacing (10, 20, 30 and 40 cm) of quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) in the Agricultural Practice and Research Center of Igdir University in 2017. In the experiment, CP (Crude protein), NDF (Neutral Detergent Fiber), ADF (Acid Detergent Fiber), DMD (Dry Matter Digestibility), DE (Digestible Energy), ME (Metabolizable Energy), DMI (Dry Matter Intake) and RFV (Relative Feed Value) was examined. The study was established according to randomized complete block factorial experiment design with three replications According to the results of the study, the effect of the changes in row spacing on the HP, NDF and NYD values of the quinoa plant were found to be significant, while the effect on the examined other properties was not statistically significant. While the highest crude protein content was obtained in 70 cm row spacing, the lowest crude protein ratios were obtained in 35 cm row spacing. The lowest NDF ratios were 17.5 and 70 cm, the highest relative feed values were obtained in 17.5 and 70 cm row spacing. Changes in intra-row spacing, the effect on nutrient content of quinoa was not significant. According to the results of the research, if the quinoa plant is sowing at 70 cm row spacing, it was determined that the plant would have a significant contribution to animal nutrition due to the high percentage of HP and NYD, because of the low rate of NDF
