Fakt?r Analizi,Ge?erlilik Abstract: The adaptation of a scale to a culture and language in another culture and language is very critical, requiring a series of scientific processes. The fact that the findings obtained from the researches using this scale reflect the real situation depends mainly on the scale adaptation studies. This scale adaptation study includes findings regarding reliability and validity values within the context of adaptation of the Innovative Behavior Scale developed by Scott and Bruce (1994) to Turkish language. The study was carried out with the data obtained from two different sample groups (n = 391, n = 619), textile and health sector. As a result of the statistical analysis, it was found that the scale has a single factor structure in our language in accordance with the original single factor structure. The Cronbach Alpha coefficient of the innovative behavior scale was measured as .93 for the first sample and .91 for the second sample. The findings obtained by statistical analysis of the adaptation of innovative behavior scale showed that it could be used as a valid and reliable scale to measure the innovative behavior for employees in various sectors in Turkey
