EVALUATION OF THE LIFE STUDIES CURRICULUM IN TERMS OF TEACHERS OPINIONSKeywords: Hayat bilgisi,??retim,program,??retmen,g?rü? Abstract: The aim of this research is to evaluate the life science lesson curriculum according to teacher opinions. The research was carried out by means of phenomonology from qualitative research methods. The study group of the study is composed of 32 class teachers working in Yozgat, Sorgun and Esenli Township. Semi-structured interview technique was used as data collection tool. The data were analyzed for content. The data based on the findings are categorized and indicated in the charts. According to the results of the research; they emphasized that the achievements of the lecture curriculum are mainly adaptable to life. They have stated that environmental conditions, familial conditions and individual circumstances can create difficulties in applying these gains, that some concepts are abstract, and some gains are above the class level. Even though some of the teachers have emphasized that the longer the duration of the topics is, the more the majority periods are sufficient. Teachers who emphasized that the course and workbooks should be more qualified, reported that the materials were not sufficient. Most teachers are based on questions and answers, observation forms and in-class and out-of-class activities on assessment and evaluation. They use tests, space filling, true-false, matching, and open-ended questions. Teachers generally use standard assessment and assessment methods. As for the sufficiency of Atatürk's subjects, majority stated that it is sufficient to reflect the national feelings of Atatürk and to be associated with Kemalism. Teachers have indicated that the program should be more relevant to daily life in order to contribute to the program. They stated that the visuals and activities of the textbooks should be better. They stated that the program should be more flexible. Suggestions were made within the scope of the research results
