Some Plant Species Growing in Erzurum and Having Medical Importance Among the People

This study was carried out between May-September of 2015-2016 and plant samples were collected from some localities determined in Erzurum province. The collected plant samples were identified and herbarium specimens were prepared. In this study, 49 plant species thought to be important in terms of medicine were investigated, and the content, Turkish names, effects and uses of these plants were compiled and shared with photos taken in the field. As a result of this study, 49 plants belonging to 25 families, mainly Asteraceae, Leguminosae and Labiatae, which are medically important and grown in natural vegetation of Erzurum, have been identified
