Radiological Evaluation of Maxillary Sinus Pathologies and Osteomeatal Complex

Maxillary sinus is an important anatomical formation that must be taken into account in dental practice, which is adjacent to the oral cavity. The osteomeatal complex is located in the middle meatus and is the site of the sinus ostia. It is suggested that strictures in this area cause inflammatory changes in the sinuses. The absence of inflammatory changes in osteomeatal complex and maxillary sinuses is a vital factor in the success of operations such as sinus lifting operations.
