INNOVATION IN NURSING

Nowadays, the importance of scientific knowledge is increasing and health care practices are changing rapidly. In this change environment, it is possible for nurses to effective and desired outcomes only if they integrate the innovation process into nursing services. Integrating of the innovation process into nursing services contributes to the improvement of the quality of care and to the reduction of health care costs. Innovation in nursing has recently gained speed in our country and there are limited number of innovative studies. This shows that innovative applications in nursing need improvement.
