This study was conducted to evaluate the risk of diabetes among Health Service Vocational School students. Material Method: This descriptive study was conducted with 169 students studying at the Health Services Vocational School at a state university. The data were collected with the Finnish Diabetes Risk Questionnaire (FINDRISK). The analysis of the data was assessed using descriptive statistics, chi-square, Pearson Chi-Square, and Fisher's Exact test in the SPSS 18.0 package program. ?A significance level of 0,05 was considered. The study was conducted in accordance with ethical rules. Findings: It was determined that 19.94 ± 0.08 and 50.9% of the average age of the students participating in the study were female students and 85.8% were staying in the dormitory. The weight average of the students was 63,53 ± 0,72 kg, the height average was 169,98 ± 0,53 cm and the body mass index averages were 21,90 ± 0,19 kg / m2. The students's BMI, waist circumference, exercise status, antihypertensive drug use, hypertension history, family history of diabetes mellitus with 10-year type 2 DM risk score were statistically significant (p<0,05). The average FINDRISK score of the students was 4.26 ± 0.23, 83.4% had low risk and 16.6% had mild and moderate risk. Conclusions and Recommendations: Non-interventional FINDRISK screening scale can be used to identify type 2 diabetes risk. It may be advisable to provide students with the possibility of providing healthy food and physical activity in the school environment
