COMMENTARY BY SAFIRI AND BUKHARIKeywords: Sef?r?,Buhar? ?erhi,Sünnet,Vahiy,?r?ad Abstract: Safiri wrote his work titled Majalis al-wa‘ziyya fi sharh ahadith hayr al-bariyya min Sahih al-Imam al-Bukhari in Hijri 10th century when the commentary literature reached perfection. In addition to being a book of sermons and guidance, the work has a partial character of commentary. The author tried to add commentaries to some hadiths chosen from al-Jami al-Sahih under the name of ‘assembly/session’. In the work written in the style of ????, issues sometimes are discussed through asking preordained questions in the form of?? ???' / / if it were as’, and by answering in the form of ???? / ??????' / it would be answered as’. Although the resources used were varied, Safiri made many mistakes in his citations who benefited mainly from hadith books – Sufism-morality books. Adopting a Sufi commentary in his description of the Prophet, Safiri also made explanations about some hadith-related sciences such as the Sunnah – Wahy (the revelations) relationship, the situation of those who imputed lies to the Prophet and the necessity of acting in accordance with ahad hadiths. Inferring a number of principles related to education from the behaviours of the Prophet, Safiri emphasized that it was not appropriate for preachers to avoid responsibility and that they should succeed in appealing to the souls of their audience
