THE HUMOROUS ELEMENTS IN ERZURUM VILLAGE THEATRICAL PLAYS

The entertainment culture of the people living in the countryside is shaped around improvisation village theatrical plays. The humorous aspect of these plays based on the word and action, which has been eluded from the folk calendar, has come to the forefront in time. Although many of them have been forgotten due to migrations and modernization today, Erzurum and its environs are at the forefront of the rich areas where village theatrical plays are performed. With this work, the humorous elements of Erzurum village theatrical plays, compiled and recorded by Dilaver Düzgün earlier, were tried to be revealed in the direction of a classification. Generally in plays, it has been mostly seen the elements of humour based on movement comedy physical intervention, imitation; based on utterance comedy the use of rhyme-repeat, the use of local language, the figure of speech, out of context, assimilation; based on situation comedy incompatible behavior, teaching; based on character comedy exaggerated character imitation.
