Abstract:

A person who learns a foreign language can express himself as much as vocabulary that they know and If she/he has very vocabulary knowledge he can communicate very well. During this time there are various activities needed to teach vocabulary in foreign language taught centers. Some of them are puzzles and create stories. Our study was investigated how the vocabs taught with activities can attract students and what they think about this topic. The population of the research was Edirne province Trakya University Language Training and Teaching Practice and Research Center (TüDEM), and the sample was made by foreign students who learning Turkish in this institution. In the study in which the qualitative research method was used, the data were collected with the "Semi-structured Interview Form". The collected data were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. According to the results obtained; It was determined by the students that the teaching vocabulary with activities should become an additional lesson, the activities conducted make it easier to teach words and being active in the lesson affects the speaking skills positively
