Development of Teacher Perceptions Scale For Competency of Pre-Service Education: A Study on Validity and ReliabilityKeywords: ??retmenler,hizmet ?ncesi ??retmen e?itimi,?l?ek geli?tirme Abstract: The aim of this study is to develop a scale to determine perceptions of teachers concerning their pre-service teacher education. The study was conducted with 329 novice teachers. Research data was obtained from five-point Likert type scale with 40 items. As a result of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA), it was found that the scale has two factors with 25 items that explains 53.691% of the total variance. Cronbach Alpha values aimed at determining reliability of the scale was found as .94 for the first factor, .89 for the second factor and .94 for the total scale. It was concluded that the scale is a valid and reliable tool for determining perceptions of teachers concerning their pre-service teacher education
