Wahhabi-Shiite conflict in Middle EastKeywords: Suudi Arabistan,?ran,Vehhabilik,?iilik,Selefi-?ii ?at??mas? Abstract: The expression of the Sunni-Shiite conflict, which is used to identify the tension between Iran and Saudi Arabia, and at the head of the tensions in the Middle East today, does not fully meet this situation. Instead, the expression of Selefi-Shi'i or Wahhabi-Shi'i should be used to express this tension, rather than the Sunnis concept, which expresses a very large part of the Islamic world outside the Shiite population. Because, looking at the historical background and examining today's examples, it will be seen that the main conflict with the Shiites is not the other Sunni groups, the Salafis, and especially the last Wahhabearer. In this study, both the historical background of the Salafi-Shiite conflict will be explained, as well as the conflicts in Saudi Arabia and Iran centered today
