Analyzing of the Table Tennis and Wushu Athletes’ Participation of the Motivation QuesKeywords: Spora Kat?l?m Güdüsü,Sporcu Abstract: The aim of this study is to reveal whether the participation of the motivation ques of the Table Tennis and Wushu athletes playing at university teams differ according to the various variables. The research model is descriptive model. The research group consists of a total of 289 athletes participating in Turkish Universities Table tennis (118 Athletes) and Wushu (171 Athletes) championships. In order to determine the level of the participation of the motivation ques of athletes in the survey, the Sport Participation Motivation Scale which was developed by Gill et al. (1983) and conducted validity and reliability studies by Oyar et al. (2001) was used. Kruskal Wallis-H test and Mann Whitney-U test were used in analysis. SPSS (Statistical package for social sciences) package programme was used so as to evaluate data and finding estimated values. It can be said that the average of the total points of students’ motivation of the participation in sports, average of the achievement point from sub dimensions’ motivation of the participation in sports, average of the physical fitness point, average of the team spirit point, average of the friend point, average of the entertainment point, Average of the competition point, average of the skill development point and Average of being active point were high levels. According to personal characteristics, meaningful difference was found in the skill development from sub dimentions and total motivation of the participation in sports of the athletes according to the Sports branch and duration of sports and variables, but not found statistically meaningful difference according to the gender, age, class, and leisure time variables
