THE TYPES OF CURATORSHIP UNDER THE SWISS CIVIL CODE

After the new legislation in comparative law, The Swiss Civil Code was amended fundamentally regarding the legal protection of adults, too. As the most important amendment, a unique official measure is vorseen in the Code instead of three types of measures (guardianship, curatorship and statutory advisor). The types of curatorship are classified from the lightest one to the strongest one in the Code (SCC. Art. 393-398). The types are analysed in this study. Because new legislation under the reference code is highly important for the Turkish Civil Code, as well. At first, it is necessary to be explained the curatorship according to the old provisions under the code. So the curatorship and its types under the old code is anaysed firstly. After that, the new types of the curatorship are the subject of this study
