Social Policies for Family Problems in Turkey and Prevention of Violence

The family is the oldest and most important institution of all societies. Social relations first take place within the family. With globalization, the value judgments around the family have entered a kind of change process. As a result of this change, domestic problems have increased. The inability to solve domestic problems revealed the concept of domestic violence and divorce increased. For these reasons, social policies for the solution of family problems have been produced and put into practice. In this study, the basic family problems in our society are discussed and solution proposals are given. In addition, the issue of domestic violence and the current social policy towards the family have been addressed. This study is a review article
