Abstract:

In the definition of Stuart Hall, the phenomenon of representation is described as the main factor in the emergence of such incidents, further away from a result obtained by developments. In order to better understand this fundamental factor, it is not easy in the traditional media understanding, although it is important for the elements within the causative to find a place in the event braid. This form of communication, which is one way, has caused a negative impact on the buyer, as well as the emergence of new discussions on the issue of representation in the media. From this point of view, it has a distinct importance that people find themselves involved in the events and cases addressed in the media and the presentations are realistic. New media has created its own representations over time. These representations are based on the research and the process in which it is followed. The new media, which emerged in parallel with the advancement of Technology and is a part of the daily life in a short time, affects the world culture with its unique representations and forms a jargon of its own. It creates a different meaning than traditional media and the representations it creates. New media, with its growing use, is characterizing as a part of human life, and has brought about more effective and conscious usage issues. The theoretical infrastructure of the study was done with the literature screening and the content of new media and representation concepts within the "Content analysis" method aims to reveal the role of the new media on the representation
