Simultaneous Occurrence Keratocystic Odontogenic Tumor and Radicular Cyst in a Patient: A Case Report

Although odontogenic cysts are commonly seen, oral cavity may rarely hold controversial coexisting lesions which may challenge the diagnosis and acumen of clinician. Previously, simultaneous occurrence keratocystc odontogenic tumor and various odontogenic and non-odontogenic lesions such as adenomatoid odontogenic tumor, ameloblastoma, giant cell granuloma, traumatic bone cyst, and palatal pleomorphic adenoma have been identified. In addition, a case of a mucoepidermoid carcinoma together with a radicular cyst has been reported. In the literature, there is no previous similar case of both keratocystic odontogenic tumor and radicular cyst.
