Postpositions in Altun Yaruk Sudur

Altun Yaruk Sudur (Golden Light Sūtra) has an importance in Buddhist Old Uyghur literature and a number of studies have been done since the beginning of the 20th century. They are usually based on transliteration, transcription, dictionary of texts. The main purpose of this paper is to be determined postpositions of Altun Yaruk Sudur by using previous publications on it. As a result, 36 postpositions were identified such as ad？n, ara, asra, basa, b？rü, birl？, eyin, ？naru, kedin, ken, kud？, kü？int？, og？at？, osuglug, ？？i, ？？re, ？tgürü, ？trü, sayu, s？？ar, tapa, ta？garu, ta？t？n, t？g, t？gi, t？gimlig, t？？lig, t？ltag？nta, ugr？nta, ulat？, utru, ü？ün, üz？, ya？l？g, y？？ak, yokaru. Furthermore, the postpositions were grouped under three headings according to their use, function and origin
