Many studies were carried out in the field of civil code before and after the proclamation of the Republic, However, the civil code commissions created did not succeed in this direction. Therefore, a civil code could not be prepared between 1922-1925. And the Swiss Civil Code was adopted in 1926. This civil code gave women legal and social equality against men.
