DEVELOPMENTS OF INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS AND FREEDOM IN TURKEY AND THE LAW OF FREEDOM PERSONALITY

One of the most indispensable elements of human rights is the individual rights and freedoms. In the historical process, individual rights ans freedoms have been tried to be based on a legal basis by laws. In this respect, the most basic rights of the individual are put under the protected. In the National Struggle Period, the bill of law about the individual rights and freedoms, presented by Abdulkadir Kemali to Turkish Grand National Assembly on 18 April 1921 is worthy to be examined. Considering the period in which the bill of law is presented, the importance of this law will be better unterstood. While trying to make dominant national sovereignty, the individual rights and freedoms are guaranteed by a law such as “Law Of Freedom Personality”. This law passes into the history as one of the most important laws emerged by the First Assembly on the individual rights and freedoms
