Reel Milli Gelir,ARDL Abstract: With the industrial revolution, energy dependency is one of the important current issues as a result of the progress of production and international trade and the increase in technology and knowledge today. The high level of energy imports and therefore energy dependence negatively affects developing and less developed countries such as Turkey in terms of Macroeconomics and Microeconomics. Therefore, it is important to examine Turkey's energy dependence and make policy recommendations based on the results obtained. So, the main objective of this study is to make policy recommendations according to the results found by explaining the effects of energy dependency on the Turkish economy in the framework of theoretical and econometric analysis. According to the results of the analysis, there is no significant correlation between energy imports and current account deficit and per capita GDP. There is a significant relationship between relative prices and current account deficit and per capita GDP
