ADAPTATION OF SCALES TO TURKISH

In the collection of scientific research data, researchers sometimes prefer to use scales prepared in different languages and cultures by adapting them to their own language and culture. This approach, in addition to time and cost contribution, enables the researcher to obtain reliable, valid, comprehensive, and comparable international comparisons. However, the adaptation of the scales to different languages and cultures takes place through a series of complex processes requiring knowledge and experience. In the national and international literature, there are important references that can guide the researchers on this issue. In this study which is prepared as a review, it is aimed to share information about scale adaptation.
