Examination of Some Manuscripts In The National Library Through Title and Ketebe Pages

There was more than three milions of work in The National Library, which was established in 1946 and connected to the Ministry of Education. The majority of these works printed publication sources. In this study, some of the manuscripts in the National Library have been examined in terms of book decoration arts. In addition to the imprint information of the works, information was given about the decorative features. Among the manuscripts in the National Library, those with a copy date between 1297-1318 (Hijri) were determined by scanning method and these works were evaluated in terms of ornament and stylistic features. There are 1117 works registered in this period in the manuscripts section of the National Library. Some of them were chosed from 06 Hk 1778/2, 14 Hk 208, 06 Mil YzA 35/1 ve 06 Mil Yz A2020 inventory numbered five illuminated ijazetname manuscripts; Title and Ketebe pages were examined in detail, motifs, patterns and stylistic features of the decorations, drawings and analyzes were completed
