Did Logical Empiricism Kill Kuhn? Keywords: Bilim Felsefesi Tarihi,Pozitivist ve Post-Pozitivist Bilim Felsefesi,Bilimsel Dil Abstract: After his monumental work, The Structure of Scientific Revolutions, was published in 1962, Thomas Kuhn dealt with problems quite a long time such as rationality of scientific theories, theory choice and incommensurability on the axis of reconfiguration of the notion of paradigm. However, beginning from 80s, his on-going analysis aforementioned matters took its last shape with a new orientation including a linguistic turn. As a result of this renewal process, a controversial discussion aroused within the literature of philosophy of science which reaches to top at the 90s whether Kuhn is a genuine alternative to logical empiricism or not. In this study, we offer an assessment via temporarily suspending both Kuhn’s own so-called shift and related debates for a better understanding of his contributions to the philosophy of science by asking whether Kuhn had completed his essential project at the Revolutions or not
