The primary methods are such as narration (naql), comparison (qiyās), consensus (ijmā`) and presumption of continuity (isti??āb).In this respect, the presumption of continuity used rather in fiqh is one of the methods referred to by the Grammarians of Arabic. Having been used occasionally in the na?w, this method has taken into consideration `origin (a?l)` of phenomena as long as there are no any situation entailing to get out of the origin. In this study, it is to be focused on `the origin` as the most prominent concept in the presumption of continuity and pointed to changes occurred in the situations out of the origin. Being referred to during the explanation of some language principles in the na?w works, this concept has paved the way for problem-solvent approaches in some language issues. It has provided to approach the language issues with a more different explanation way than known others
