TEACHERS OPINIONS ON THE PILOT APPLICATION OF CYBER SAFETY AND CONSCIOUS SOCIAL MEDIA USE LECTURE

In this study, it is aimed to determine the opinions and suggestions of the teachers participating in the pilot courses from the point of content, method and application. The pilot application of Cyber Security and Conscious Social Media Use was conducted with the participation of 46 teachers and 500 students in 15 schools in 32 districts of Istanbul in the 2017-2018 academic year. Data were collected with a form consisting of 8 questions. The data collection tool was prepared by the researchers. As a result of the content analysis of the data obtained, the problems experienced by the teachers during the implementation process, the solution suggestions for these problems, the positive effects of the course on the students, their contribution to their personal and professional development and the suggestions for improvement for the literacy of the pilot course are presented in tables
