A research on patient satisfaction in family medicineKeywords: Aile Hekimli?i,Hasta Memnuniyeti,Sa?l?kta D?nü?üm Abstract: Introduction: Health care reforms offering high quality, easily accessible and equitable health care, improving health, use resources efficiently, emphasizes elements such as to reduce regional disparities in health indicators. In this framework, the Family Physician System, a component of the Health Transformation Program, is an important part of health care reforms. The model which started with the pilot implementation in the province of Düzce in 2005 has been spread throughout the country in 2010. Purpose: The aim of this study is to evaluate the level of satisfaction of citizens in the family medicine system in the city of Eski?ehir. Method: The study was carried out by applying a 30-question survey of 120 citizens of the simple random sampling method with the age of 18 registered with the selected 8 different family health center. The European General Practitioners or European Patients Evaluate General/Family Practice (EUROPEP) Scale has been used in the study. Findings: Research results in “very good” and “good” when the scales meet the highest score given statements 90.84% “listened to”, with 87.5% “to examine you” and also with 82.5% “recording and maintain the confidentiality of information” has been expressions. “Very bad” and “bad” scale of the collection consists of the lowest scoring 23.34% with phrases that “you can get your doctor on the phone” and 20% “you can reach the office by phone” expressions. The level of satisfaction with the family medicine model was not significantly different from the socio-demographic characteristics in the significance value of p <0.05. Conclusion: As a result of the research, it was determined that the patients receiving family medicine services in Eski?ehir were generally satisfied
