A LITERATUR REVIEW ABOUT “JUDICIAL TRUST”

Developing technologies and changing world conditions increase both duties of state and expectations of citizens from state. The inability of state services to compensate expectations is first of the factors that reduce the trust in the state. As trust in the whole state apparatus decreases, trust in executive and judicial institutions is also diminishing or changing seperately. It can be said that the academic interest in trust in this framework has a dimension which is mainly concerned with legislative and executive bodies. It is seen that the academic studies examining the trust towards the judicial institution are started in the later periods, and therefore can not be dealt with at a serious level yet. In Turkey, the number of academic studies that deals with trust in the judiciary is much less. Most of the studies done is at the level of public opinion polling
