INVESTIGATION OF THE LEVEL OF ANGER AND IMPULSIVE BEHAVIOR OF THE HIGH SCHOOL OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS STUDENTSKeywords: Beden E?itimi ve Spor Yüksekokulu, dürtüsellik, ?fke, spor Abstract: The aim of this research, investigation of the level of anger and impulsive behavior of the university students. The population of the study consists of 1200 university students who studies in School of Physical Education and Sports at Bart?n University. Accordingly the sample of the study consisted of 111 woman and 372 men totaling 483 students which was selected convenience sampling method. Personal information form, the State-Trait Anger Expression Inventory developed by Spielberger et al., and the UPPS Impulsive Behavior Scale developed by Whiteside and Lynam were used to collect data. In the study, the data were analyzed for normal distribution by the Shapiro Wilk test. In the data analysis for Pearson Correlation Coefficient, independent samples t-test and one-way ANOVA was used. Results were assessed in .05 significance level. In study, it was not found that no dimension of the anger and the impulse differed according to sex and income group, however both the impulsivity and the anger were found to significat difference according to age and the class of education. When the relationship between State-Trait Anger Expression and the UPPS Impulsive Behavior Scale scores of participants was examined, there was a positive and significant relationship between the premeditation dimension, the anger-in dimension, and the anger-out dimension. As a result, anger can be experienced by all students as an intrinsic feeling, however, it is unclear how students will express anger-in and anger-out, or who can be most angry at what they are, is uncertain and may differ.
