Financing of Environmental Sustainability Investments in Tourism Industry, a Case Study of Mu？la Province

Emerging technologies and increasing world population cause the rapid depletion of natural resources, which in turn leads to the need for sustainability in order to sustain future of humanity and the world. Sustainability activities have become mandatory in the tourism sector as it is in each area. Green Key; is a certification system developed for businesses operating in the tourism sector and determined to be sensitive to the environment. In this study, environmentally friendly activities and sustainability investments in tourism businesses that were awarded with the Green Key in the province of Mu？la in 2017 were examined, the funding sources of these investments were discussed and the level of consciousness related to this subject was evaluated
