INVESTIGATION OF NURSING FACULTY STUDENTS’ BURNOUT LEVELSKeywords: Tükenmi?lik Sendromu,Hem?irelik,??renci,üniversite Abstract: ABSTRACT Objective: The aim of this study is to examine the burnout levels of Ege University Faculty of nursing students’ within the framework of socio-demographic and academic variables. Methods: A total of 722 in this study, Maslach Burnout Inventory-Student Survey (MBI-SS) developed by Schaufeli et al. (2002) and adapted to Turkish by ?apri, Gündüz and G?k?akan (2011) was used. Kolmogorov-Smirnof analysis, Kruskal Wallis, Mann without U correlation tests were used in the analysis of data. Results and Conclusion: Burnout of students in research; however, it has been concluded that it is not affected by gender, marital status and displacement variables, but it is affected by age group, grade, economic status, status of working, weekly course hours, cumulative GPA, enthusiasm and willingness for entry into faculty, satisfaction of the department, willingness to become a nurse, participation in any social activity, satisfaction of education system and physical conditions of faculty. In terms of the results it has been derived from higher average age, lower economic situation, working status, being third and intern grade, weekly thirty and more hours lectures, having 2.50 and lower average grade point, participate in any social activity, unwillingness for entry into faculty and becoming a nurse.
