Osman Yüksel Serdenge？ti’s Understanding of Opposition

Osman Yüksel Serdenge？ti is a man of action and thought famous for being a journalist, a politician, a poet and having a colorful personality witnessed in recent history. Having had an active life from the end of the single party period to the end of 1970s he stood as an opponent and defended his truths all the time and paid for it. In this study, the understanding of opposition of Serdenge？i, who acted with the slogan “ As Turk As Tian Shan, As Muslim As Mount Hira”, in political and social environment was analyzed.
