Water-Yield Relations of Two Different Pepper Varieties Grown under Greenhouse in Farmer Conditions in TurkeyKeywords: A??r? sulama,k?l biber,k?s?nt?l? sulama,ü? burun biber Abstract: In this study, the yield values obtained from the amount of water applied during the growing season were taken and physical measurements and observations were made without any intervention in the cultivation conditions of two different pepper varieties grown in a glasshouse in traditional farmer conditions. The amount of water applied by the farmer in each irrigation was recorded with a water meter installed in the greenhouse entrance. Then, yield values obtained as a result of applied water quantities were compared with the knowledge of the literature. Thus, it was examined whether excessive irrigation water was applied to the pepper plant grown under the farmer conditions or not. As a result of the study, it was determined that the pepper plant grown under the traditional farmer conditions is over-irrigated. Consequently, it was suggested that irrigation scheduling must be done by expert personnel in plant production
