PRODUCTIVITY AND IMPACT ON COST OF CYBERLOAFING: AN APPLICATION

Cyberloafing is the act of employees to play internet-based games, to shop, to check personal mails, to receive training, to follow news sites during working hours. Today, the widespread use of the internet, easier access to internet based applications through smartphones is an indication of the intensive execution of these actions. When domestic and foreign studies related to cyberloafing are examined, it is seen that some definitions are made and classifications are made. The aim of the study is to determine the direction of the effect in terms of employee and employer by giving conceptual information about cyberloafing. Employees and employers have surveyed. As a result of the implementation, the employees of the Cyberloafing and the employer have been analyzed by measuring the effect in terms of productivity and cost.
