THE LIFE OF MULLAH ABDULAZIZ AL-GUEV？ AND HIS SCIENTIFIC PERSONALITY

Mullah Abdulaziz el-Guev？ was born in 1921 in the Guev (Topluca) village of Solhan, district of Bing？l. He completed madrasah education in the turbulent political conditions of the period. After receiving his icazah in 1955, he concentrated his studies on science and enlightenment in various places. Mullah Abdulaziz, who has educated a large number of students in Bing？l, Elaz？？ and Mu？ regions, continued his madrasah education activities despite the negative political conditions. el-Guev？, an expert in classical madrasa sciences, has a reputation as a scholar with zuhd, taqva and modesty and has played an active role in solving local problems. Mullah Abdulaziz, who closely follows the political and intellectual developments in the Islamic world, has focused on raising highly qualified people in the despotical environment more then writing. He has, however, written some important treatises on the problems of everyday life such as Risale f？ Rü'yeti'l-Hilal and Risale f？ Sub？t al-kerame. In this article, the life, personality and scientific studies of Mullah Abdulaziz D？ner, one of the leading scholars of the period, will be studied and the social and political environment in which scientific studies are shaped will be evaluated
