The media, which is expanding from day to day, is one of the important determinants of social structure today. The media picks up this power by telling real events as eclectic. The formation of the news is largely reconstructed by reflecting the reality. One of the areas in which reality is being reconstructed is the representation of women in the media, especially those in which violence is the target. The most extreme of violence incidents committed to women is murder. In our country, almost every day, dozens of women are commonly victims of harassment and rape, either violence or direct murder, by their spouse, father, lover or another male offender. According to official statistics, only the number of women murdered in Turkey in 2017 is 409. Not even this number is indicative of the fact that violence against women is not a separate case but a resident case. Female victims are either vulnerable persons who have suffered from the spouse, girlfriend or traditional values. Most of the time, the violence is reflected in the person who attracts them, moreover, who deserves it. The fact that women are massacred due to an act or behavior that is not their own misdemeanors is rarely mentioned. Or female murders are economic, cultural, political etc. are presented as if they were a direct individual problem, not in relation to structural causes. In some cases, such murders are concealed by associating them with the cultural and traditional structure of a particular geographical segment. Continuity of female murders causes the news of murder to increase quantitatively. In this point, unlike the traditional written / visual media, internet journalism which is able to rapidly reach every other and more people is important in murder news. In this study, how the news of the murder of women is processed in internet journalism will be examined through the rhetorical news analysis method through hurriyet.com example. In this issue, the appearance of women murders in internet journalism; news style, frame, presentation style, how the women murders are perceived and interpreted in terms of the victims and the societies will be covered and the solution proposal will be tried to be presented in the context of journalistic principles and journalistic understanding
