THE DIFFERENCES OF THE JOB SATISFACTION PERCEPTION ACCORDING TO THE DEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERICTICS OF EMPLOYEES: A RESEARCH ON THE PUBLIC AND THE PRIVATE SECTOR IN KASTAMONUKeywords: ?? Tatmini,ücret,Y?netim Tarz? Abstract: The human fact which is a source of labor in organizations should not be ignored. In the world literature, especially after the Hawthorne Studies, the study of the "human" element became important. It is irrefutable that employees' satisfaction with their work is a matter of great importance both on their behalf and on behalf of the institutions and organizations they work with. Employees’ satisfaction that they have responded to their needs, satisfaction with managerial attitudes and satisfaction with colleagues will increase the efficiency of employees to do business and employees will also contribute to the organizations they are affiliated with. A survey was conducted in this study on 275 individuals working in various public and private organizations operating in Kastamonu province. According to the findings of the study, it was determined that the perception of job satisfaction differs according to the educational status, age and position of the employees. Furthermore, it was concluded that the level of satisfaction of public employees is higher than that of private sector employees. In addition to these, there is a strong positive relationship between satisfaction with job satisfaction and managers' attitudes and satisfaction that works are in accordance with their ability. However, according to the results of the study, no meaningful difference was found in that the perception of job satisfaction differed according to the sex, the number of children, the longest living settlement, the income level and the service periods of the institution. A different point in the study is that the level of teachers' satisfaction with their wages is very low
