American Mandate Discussed in the Sivas Congress

After the Mondros ceasefire agreement, due to the decadent situation of the Ottoman Empire and the economic crisis; the commanders including Mustafa Kemal, who were disturbed in this situation, organized congresses in Anatolia as a result of the sovereignty of the Entente States on all sides of the country.
