Classroom Teacher’s Opinions for Screen ReadingKeywords: Okuma,Ekran Okuma,??retmenler Abstract: This study’s purpose is to determine the classroom teachers’ opinions about modern era’s recent reading method screen reading.To achieve that purpose the study uses “work scan” method. The datas which will be used in the study are obtained by interview method.The study and interviews are made in 2014-2015 academic year by classroom teachers who work in a school placed in middle anatolia. 85 women and 76 man,161 in total has worked in “reading part” of this study. Datas related to this study, are obtained by unstructured interview form and content analysis method used to analyse the datas. According to that most of the participants agreed on that reading from a screen is self-sufficent. However, it was determined that the readings were carried out in short intervals so their preference was based on the paper book. Besides the participant teachers mostly agreed on that the advantages of reading from screen is a fast and practical way to reach knowledge. It’s always at your reach anytime. Howewer it turns out that they do not agree on reading from screen simplifies understanding and improves reading as a habit
