Evaluation of the Event of the Priest Bah？ra in the Context of Revelation

In this research, the Bahira the Monk incident, which was claimed that it happened during the Syria journey in town called Busra several times when the Prophet [pbuh] Muhammed was nine, ten, twelve or thirteen years, was studied with a methodological point of view specific to historical studies and the Quran was used as the basic reference source. Besides, Tafsir, Hadith and Islamic History sources were also utilized. The study revealed that Priest Bahira’s prophecy on the young child would be the prophet of the future had no effect on Prophet Muhammed or Quraysh Caravan. It has been concluded that this incident, which contains serious problems in terms of script and text, contradicts the rules of revelation, historical context, and logic, was fictionalized in order to prove the Prophet Muhammed would be prophet the moment he was born and to glorify him
