One of the scholarly personalities who left a significant mark in the history of Islamic thought is Vas？l. As he marked his era by his religious conception he was mentioned in later times. Vas？l was born in the hijri year 80. He took lessons from Abu Hashim Abdullah b. Muhammad b. Hanefiyye in Medina, and also from Hasan-？ Basri in Basra. In addition, he was brought up in contact with a large number of intellectual figures. Was？l has abandoned the instructor's ring and has created an independent scientific ring on the matter of great sin because he thinks differently from his teacher Hasan Basri at the beginning of the second century of hijri. After this separation, which was also accepted as the beginning of the establishment of Mu’tazila Communion, Was？l has attracted attention revealing original approaches in many of the controversial religious issues. In addition, Was？l has been a staunch advocate of pure Islamic fury, opposing internal extreme interpretations and external objections throughout his life. This study aimed to put forward Was？l’s approach to the religious rule of the participants of the Cemel Incident and the occurrent of the murder of Khalife Osman which was one of the disputed areas among Muslims.
