Mental Illnesses and Stigmatization; Inside Community, Press, Health Professionals and Everywhere...Keywords: Damgalama,Damgalama ile Mücadele,Ruhsal Hastal?k,Tutum Abstract: Negative perspective and attitudes about mental illnesses are widespread still today like every age of history. This prejudice and segregationist attitude for mentally ill patients is the most important factor that effects negatively every stage of mental health services. Stigmatization and discrimination disturbs the patients’ perceive about ilness, patient-physician relationship and maintainig treatment and rehabilitation process. The aim of this review is to have a look at studies in literature about health professionals, press, students and educationists, that are the most important parts of society at campaign against stigmatization and raising awareness about negative attitudes and beliefs about mental illnesses
