THE DETERM？NATION AND CRITICISMS OF THE IMAM AL-NAWEVI ABOUT MUSLIM AND CORRECT

Sah？h-i Muslim is an important resource that forms the basis of many works that are respected in the field of hadith. Throughout history, scholars have written many works in order to better understand Sah？h-i Muslim. In this works, the commentary of Imam Al-Nawevi gained a significant position. Imam Al-Nawevi mentioned to position of Muslim’s hadith science while writing his commentary. In this context Imam Al-Nawevi mentioned upon the precaution in the hadith science, the criteria observed in the protection of the hadith, the method which used during the author writing his Works, the criticisms to ？mam Muslim and his work. Imam Al-Nawevi, who included expressions in his defense, also didn’t refrain from criticizing Muslim from time to time. In this article we will try to record the evaluations of Nawevi about Muslim, with the framework of Minhac, and his Sah？h. In doing so, first of all Nawevi’s evaluations about both Muslim and Sah？h, then criticisms of scholars about Muslim and his work and then Nawevi’s evaluations in the face of recent criticisms will be referred. Consequently, we believe that our article, which show that there are no faultless works of except for the Holly Qur’an, will shed light on analyzing Muslim and his wor
