Students’ Reasons for Preferring Imam Preachers Schools (The Sample of Elaz？？)

This paper aims to determine the factors that were effective in choosing religious vocational schools by students who get education in these schools. The descriptive survey model of quantitative research method has been used in order to reveal the research goal. The population consists of 600 students who were randomly selected from five religious vocational schools, two of which include boys while other two of which include girls and the last one is a project school, all of which are located in the center of Elaz？？, at the beginning of first term in 2017-2018 educational-training year. The research data has been obtained through survey. The frequency, percentage and arithmetic mean of the descriptive statistics in the analysis of data have been used. It has been seen that among the guiding reasons to religious vocational schools the most effective factors are “ family, personal preference and the preference score for a highschool”. This paper reveals that the most effective factor to prefer religious vocational school is “the religious education”. However, it has also been found out that “the school’s educational quality” is more effective in the preference of this school for the students who receive their education in the project religious vocational schools
