For this, it will be investigated whether there is a statistically significant relationship between the determined student and family characteristics related to religious subjects. For this purpose, a questionnaire called "The Impact of Parents in the Religious Education of the Child: Diyarbak?r Example" was prepared and applied to the third grade students of eight primary schools in four central districts of Diyarbakir. According to the results obtained, it has been determined that as the frequency of reading the prayers after the meals increases in the students' houses, the frequency of asking their parents about religious matters is increased. Students who stated that they learned prayers and surahs from their mothers and their fathers, asked their mothers and their fathers more frequently in religious matters. As the frequency with which the mother and father informed the child increased, the level of children's ability to read the Qur'an, the level of wanting to fast in the month of Ramadan, and the frequency of reading prayers after eating at home increased. As the level of religious commitment of the mother and father increased, the level of the student's desire to fast also increased
