From Madrasahs To Next Generation Ideal Educational Structures

It is an undeniable reality that place, from past to present, is one of the most important factors affecting life. Many researches were accomplished throughout history, it was revealed that human perception is affected by many phenomenon comprising the place, such as light, shadow, color, sound, volume, fullness, sizing. This interaction between living and place was used in architectural work through generations and gained different aspects based on mentality of every nation. Architecture, which is a reflection of social life, has being changed continuously due to political, economic, social and cultural causes, and has gained new features according to characteristic of each era. Educational structures, which played an effective role in shaping of society and bridging of generations in Anatolian civilization as in all civilizations, took place in historical scene in different forms by being affected from these changes. In this article, it was aimed to getting one step closer to ideal educational structure understanding by implementing ideas which are effective in construction of architecture of madrasahs
