Abstract:

Every work written in the world and in national boundaries in the name of literature is an important source for the professional development of authors. What makes a writer different and permanent is to be aware of the dynamics that make up his culture and to transfer his knowledge from his own point of view. With creative writing practices; the atmosphere of writing, technical aspects of literature, literary fashion and aesthetics have been moved to a teachable environment. In the world literature, in the workshops on creative writing, the program 'Rewriting Tales' is aimed to be made especially for children's literature. In terms of Turkish children's literature, the re-writing of tales as part of their native culture is being tried by a limited number of authors. Apart from Kelo?lan, this literary type, which is one of the most important sources that can convey the intangible heritage, has been abandoned, its place being taken by foreign tales. In this study, it is aimed to look at the general use of tales in Turkish literature. In this study, a few stories collected from the folk have been evaluated on the principles of children's literature and some requests have been made on the aspects of fiction and plot. Yücel Feyzio?lu's rewriting of the Tatar Turks' story "Saran and Yumart" has been used as an example for using the academic expertise in the field of children's writing
